Celebrity Solstice Makes Her Florida Debut November 3rd

If you live in South Florida or are visiting the area, you are in for a treat on Monday, Nov 3rd as one of the cruise industry’s most eagerly awaited ships of the year—Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Solstice—will sail into Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL for the first time. Expected to arrive at the Port Everglades sea buoy at approximately 6 am, Celebrity Solstice should be dockside by approximately 7 am. Ideal viewing platforms include Fort Lauderdale Beach and surroundings, while residents with waterfront condominiums can enjoy a bird’s-eye view.

For her arrival, Celebrity Solstice will be fully “dressed” with vibrant flags flying above its industry-first half-acre Lawn Club, Hot Glass Show, and one of the highest percentages of verandas in the business, not to mention the wealth of attributes found inside the sleek, 122,000-ton ship.

Soon after its arrival, Celebrity Solstice will sail a series of 2-night preview cruises for invited guests and be named in formal ceremonies on Nov 14. Cruise Diva will be on board from Nov 12-14 and reporting here on the blog. In the meantime, check out what's in store aboard:
