Tropical Storm Cristobal Shuffles Cruise Ship Itineraries

The U.S. National Hurricane Center says strengthening is expected and Tropical Storm Cristobal could become a hurricane on Wednesday.

So far, these ships' itineraries have been altered:

Carnival Cruise Lines

Carnival Splendor: The ship bypassed Half Moon Cay and called at Nassau instead on August 24 and visited at Port Canaveral on August 25.

Carnival Liberty: All ports remain on the itinerary, but the order of the calls has been changed.

Carnival Pride: Instead of Grand Turk the ship will call at Port Canaveral on August 27 and substitute Nassau for a call at Half Moon Cay on August 28.

Carnival Sensation: Nassau will be replaced by Key West on August 26.

Royal Caribbean

Freedom of the Seas: A day at sea replaced a call in CocoCay on August 25.

Disney Cruise Line

Disney Fantasy: on August 26 the ship will visit San Juan instead of St. Marteen.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Dawn: will depart Bermuda at 6 am on Tuesday, August 26.

Norwegian Gem: If conditions prevent from the ship anchoring at Great Stirrup Cay on Tuesday, August 26, the ship will proceed to Nassau and stay overnight through 6pm on Wednesday, August 27.

Norwegian Breakaway: Will modify her Bermuda itinerary and sail south to arrive in Port Canaveral, Florida on Wednesday, August 27 and will call in Nassau on Thursday, August 28.
